The role of a creative artworker is a highly skilled and diverse one, someone who is perhaps half way between a designer and an artworker. They would be required to
design print-ready artwork or be called upon to apply a certain design style across
a range of printed material.
 

Skills a creative artworker needs::

Good experience in Adobe Creative Suite, especially InDesign, Photoshop & Illustrator. A good understanding of brand and corporate guidelines.

 

Collaborative skills to
work closely with senior account managers as well 
as the client.

Creative artworkers are chosen for their creative panache and fastidious nature, organisational skills and attention to detail.

Photo retouching is the process of altering an image to prepare it for final presentation. Retouchers typically perform actions
that are small localised adjustments to an image. Usually completed after globalized adjustments (such as color correction), retouching is the polishing of an image.

 

Once the white balance, cropping and colour profile has been created a retoucher will focus on adjusting other elements of an image.

A Toolkit/Style Guide (or manual of style) is a set of standards for the writing and design of documents, either for general use or for a specific publication, organisation, or field.

A style guide establishes and enforces style to improve communication. To do that, it ensures consistency within a document and across multiple documents and enforces best practice in usage and in language composition, visual composition and typography. 

At the very basic level, logos are symbols made up of text and images that help us identify brands we like. But they can be so much more!

A good logo is the cornerstone of your brand. It helps customers understand what you do, who you are and what you value. That’s a lot of responsibility on a tiny image!
